General Manager – Urban Air Adventure Park (Gilroy, CA)Urban Air is seeking a General Manager to lead a new park in Gilroy. This role will drive results, build a strong team, and create a fun, high-energy culture for guests and staff.You will lead the park from pre-opening through launch and ongoing operations. This includes hiring the full team, setting up operations, and driving overall performance.Pre-Opening & Launch ResponsibilitiesSupport ownership and corporate teams to prepare the park for a successful openingAssist with final construction coordination, vendor readiness, and operational setupRecruit, hire, onboard, and train 60–80+ team membersEnsure safety, operational, and regulatory readiness before openingSupport local marketing, partnerships, and community outreachBuild team culture, operating rhythms, and execution standards from day oneResponsibilitiesPeopleHire, train, and develop team membersBuild a team environment focused on great guest serviceExecute staff training programsDevelop Area Leads and Certified TrainersMotivate managers and team members to achieve strong performanceExecute employee recognition and incentive programsMaintain strong community relationshipsOperationsMaintain a safe, clean, and secure environmentOversee all areas of the park: attractions, food & beverage, retail, and facilitiesEnsure consistent execution of operating standardsProvide clear direction to the management teamPromote positive employee relations and strong team moraleHold managers accountable for meeting goalsMonitor guest feedback and improve the experienceFinancialsDrive revenue through local marketing, events, and partnershipsSupport sales initiatives (parties, group events, community programs)Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controlEnsure staffing aligns with labor targetsReview financial reports and take action to improve resultsQualificationsEnthusiastic and professional in all interactionsStrong judgment and decision-making skillsExperience in hospitality (theme parks, entertainment, hotels, restaurants, etc.)3+ years in operations or facility management (5+ preferred)Proven ability to develop teams and deliver resultsSelf-motivated with a positive attitudeComfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong communication skills (written and verbal)Able to build relationships with employees, vendors, and partnersAdaptable and flexible in a fast-changing environmentHigh standards of professionalism and accountabilityAbility to set and communicate a clear visionWho Will Succeed In This RoleYou will lead a young and energetic team.
