Customer Service Administrator

Ready to bring your customer service and admin skills to an established team in Farmingdale, NY? We’re looking for a reliable, tech-savvy Customer Service & Admin Specialist to handle customer calls, emails, and daily office support.                                             

salary: $22 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Customer Support & Communication:

• Answer inbound phone calls and respond to customer emails in a professional, timely manner.

• Assist customers with product/service inquiries, order status updates, pricing, and general questions.

• Resolve customer concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues when necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer records and conversation notes in our database/CRM.

Administrative & Office Support:

• Process daily orders, data entry, and file updates accurately.

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, package deliveries, and office documentation.

• Provide administrative backup to team members and department managers as needed.

• Assist with basic invoicing, billing inquiries, or document preparation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or front-office operations.

• Communication: Verbal and written communication skills with a clear, polite phone manner and professional email etiquette.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new database or inventory software.

• Organization: High attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective time management.

• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a commitment to maintaining the 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.
