Job Responsibilities

• Design Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy protocols to help achieve their goals for daily living.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to effectively enhance patients' motor skills, cognition, and ability to perform daily activities.
• Collaborate with Health Professionals: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to encourage continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Maintain a record of clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Accredited Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Support for ongoing education and certification opportunities

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification must be obtained
