Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine patient needs and formulate effective treatment plans. Deliver individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, utilizing best practices for remote counseling. Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each patient. Monitor client progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve the best possible long-term outcomes. Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring safety and support for clients in distress. Engage in professional development opportunities, staying informed about the latest treatment modalities and mental health trends. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population within the community, which includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications Must possess an active New York State license in one of the following categories: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and familiarity with virtual platforms for therapy delivery. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who bring additional clinical experience and specialization in treating specific populations, such as children, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders. Experience with integrated treatment approaches and previous participation in collaborative care models will enhance your candidacy. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 - 120,000 annually, reflecting the value we place on professional expertise.
