Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional states to establish baseline data for effective treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are informed by clients’ unique issues and tailored to their therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals and couples, helping address various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and frameworks, including Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation to guide your client interactions.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client's progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies within marriage and family therapy, integrating new findings into your practice.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive care and ensure client's needs are met from all angles.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely assistance to clients who may be in acute distress.
\n
• Lead discussions with clients and their families to enhance understanding and participation in their own treatment journey.
\n
• Advocate for clients' needs, assisting them to navigate the mental health system and access additional resources when necessary.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities aimed at enhancing both personal growth and clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with range from teenagers navigating the complexities of adolescence to adults and couples dealing with relationship dynamics and personal challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.

• Holding active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in accordance with Oregon State regulations is required.

• Demonstrated experience in providing effective therapy to individuals and couples through both in-person and virtual platforms.

• Proficiency in writing and effective communication skills including the capability to document client interactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ability to adapt to electronic health record systems and other telehealth software solutions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and families, addressing issues across age groups.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and methodologies relevant to marriage and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
