If you're looking for a dynamic and purpose-driven environment, we invite you to explore the opportunity to contribute to our mission.Job Summary The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be an integral member of DAP Health's integrative care team, responsible for conducting triage, performing comprehensive assessments, and providing psychotherapy services to patients in need of behavioral health care. This position operates within an outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, where the LCSW will collaborate closely with providers and care teams, working with patients from diverse backgrounds and varying needs. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive behavioral and mental health assessments, including formulating diagnoses and providing treatment recommendationsDevelop individualized treatment plans, monitor their progress, and adapt them as needed in collaboration with the patientProvide brief individual, family and/or group therapy as needed to patients with behavioral health and co-occurring disordersOffer interventions and resources to patients in a mental health crisis, and coordinate referrals to higher levels of care when neededWhen appropriate, refer patients to additional services such as psychiatric evaluation, substance abuse evaluation, case management, intensive outpatient programs, hospitalization etc.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with other care team members including doctors, clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, case workers, education professionals, etc.Act as a liaison and coordinate care between patient and community resources as neededDeliver services through a range of modalities, such as in-person, telehealth, telephone, video that are clinically appropriate and tailored to the patient's needsComplete all documentation in a timely mannerProtect patient privacy following HIPAA standardsAttend and participate in scheduled meetingsProvide supervision of trainees and interns as assignedPerform additional duties as requestedNew Hire BonusWe are pleased to offer a new hire bonus of $10,000 for this position.QualificationsRequired Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge and expertise in utilizing various psychotherapy practices and methods, including evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, dialectical behavior therapy, and moreAbility to stay calm and supportive during psychological emergencies or crises, providing appropriate interventions and resources as necessaryAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary medical team as well as independentlyAwareness and sensitivity to diverse multicultural communitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsEducation and ExperienceActive and unrestricted California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Current BLS certification obtained through the American Heart Association or American Red CrossExperience: Using Electronic Health Record (EHR)Providing psychotherapy treatmentWorking with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disordersWorking with underserved populations preferredWorking in FQHC preferredBilingual (English/Spanish, English/Arabic) preferredMinimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy in a clinical setting as an ASW and/or LCSW with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferredWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsThis position is based on-site at a DAP Health clinic, with the option for hybrid or fully remote work, along with occasional travel to DAP Health locationsOperates in an office/clinical setting and requires frequent times of sitting, standing, repetitive motion, and talkingRequires current and valid driver's license and current personal auto insuranceAble to travel to DAP Health locations throughout San Diego and Riverside for patient care and meetingsAbility to lift 24 pounds
