About This Role The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the complex, multi-disciplinary coordination of specialty patient populations, developing, evaluating, and revising care pathways based on assessments conducted through engagement with patients, families, and multiple departments. Highlights Pay: $71.23/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Tisch Cancer Center Department/Unit: Tisch Cancer Institute G30 - ISM Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Coordinate clinical care within a designated specialty with Nursing, Social Work, Care Management, and other related disciplines. Establish and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Organize and lead day-to-day patient care coordination. Provide consultation and education to interdisciplinary team members. Promote an interdisciplinary approach to patient care delivery. Serve as a resource for patients and their families. Act as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient Bill of Rights. Participate in promoting and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Collaborate in the development and implementation of nursing standards. Maintain leadership competency through continuing education and professional organizations. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in health-related field preferred. Experience: 2 years experience in specialty clinical field required. Licenses & Certifications: Current NYS nurse licensure required. BCLS certification required (Issuing Authority: AHA).
