We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Sturgis, MI Maintenance Department. Maintenance Technician Job Overview Responsible for maintaining and repairing injection molding machines and supporting equipment. Benefits Paid Time Off 401k 401k matching Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Company paid Life Insurance Opportunities for advancement Schedule 1st shift - 7:30am - 4pm 30 minute unpaid lunch break Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to read schematics preferred Capable of wiring electrical circuits preferred Good communication skills and able to work independently and in a team environment Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems preferred Experience in injection molding preferred Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assist maintaining and repairing injection molding machines ranging from 75T to 850T Assist maintaining all supporting equipment: conveyors, grinders, pneumatic systems, water heaters, etc Ability to read, understand and work from schematics Conduct preventative maintenance duties per documented schedules Document all repairs and preventative maintenance activities to comply with ISO requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work area Cross train in mold setting All other duties as assigned Compensation $20 to $30 per hour starting pay, dependent on qualifications & experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Midwest Plastic Engineering, Inc.
