Data Processing Specialist

To support a growing healthcare initiative, the full-time Data Processing Specialist will accurately process, enter, and maintain high volumes of patient data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and CMS guidelines in a Birmingham, AL office environment. Key responsibilities: Process and manage large volumes of data using Microsoft Excel Review, validate, and maintain data files to ensure accuracy and completeness Conduct audits of data processing activities to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and internal quality standards Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large data files Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and confidential handling of PHI Experience reviewing and validating data for completeness and consistency Familiarity with healthcare data, CMS requirements, or patient experience surveys is preferred
