Working Title: EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - 70028789 The mission of an Employment Specialist is to empower individuals under community supervision by providing comprehensive job readiness training, fostering partnerships with employers and educational institutions, and offering continuous support to help them secure meaningful employment and successfully reintegrate into society. Job Duties Meet with offenders to help them find jobs and provide resources while they are under supervision. Organize and lead classes on job readiness, including how to apply for jobs and interview skills. Build partnerships with employers, schools, and community groups to create job opportunities and training for offenders. Support offenders by regularly checking in, helping with job searches, and coordinating job fairs and volunteer work.
