Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator owns high-volume, end-to-end onboarding for new hires across multiple states. This role is the first point of contact for every new employee, keeps onboarding and compliance moving on deadline, and supports the broader HR team with day-to-day administration. Success here takes urgency, precision, and a customer-service-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding

• Manage high-volume, end-to-end onboarding for new hires across a multi-state workforce.
• Send new hire documentation and follow up until every item is complete and on time.
• Process background checks, I-9 forms, and E-Verify, and track each to completion.
• Coordinate start dates and first-day logistics with hiring managers and the HR team.

Compliance

• Ensure onboarding meets federal and state requirements in each state where the company operates.
• Audit new hire files for accuracy and completeness, and flag gaps before they become issues.

New Hire Experience

• Serve as the first point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through day one.
• Answer questions by phone and email promptly, professionally, and with a service-first approach.

HR Administration

• Create and maintain accurate digital employee files in the HRIS.
• Support the HR team with reporting, data entry, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of HR, onboarding, or recruiting coordination experience, ideally in a high-volume setting.
• Working knowledge of I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and background check processes.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage many open items at once without dropping any.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, plus Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Discretion with confidential employee information.
