Shift: 3x12 Flex, 07:00:00-19:00:00, Primarily Days with some late night (evenings), holidays, on call/call per unit needs. At this time, NO WEEKENDS!

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

An electrophysiology technologist performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions, such as electrocardiograms, in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include preparing the patient for procedures, ensuring equipment functionality, monitoring read-outs, assisting with lab analysis, and aiding physicians during interventions related to heart and cardiac health.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with MD and staff to ensure availability of equipment and supplies.
• Assist in room turnover and coordinate on-time starts for patient care.
• Assist at the sterile field, prepare the patient and equipment for study and ablations.
• Maintain fluids for the ablation catheter and provide assistance with the ablator.
• Assist Anesthesia and document during study and ablations, provide backup pacing during implants.

Requirements:

• NY License ONLY
• 2 Years' experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Proficiency in moderate sedation
