Job Title: Paralegal Location: Toms River, NJ Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $50-$70k/yr. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm Paralegal Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the handling of Property and Automobile subrogation claims
- Draft pleadings and motions related to civil litigation
- Additional related work as assigned
- Communicate effectively with adverse attorneys and claims adjusters
- Maintain computerized diaries using organizational and computer skills
- Experience in civil litigation
- Ability to speak with adverse attorneys and claims adjusters
- Strong organizational skills needed to maintain computerized diaries
- Prior experience drafting and filing pleadings
- Knowledge of insurance subrogation (a plus)
- Experience working with MS Word, Case Management Software, Adobe, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and writing skills
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
