Mountain Standard is looking for a dynamic and passionate line cooks. We offer a team first environment, that cares about the food we make and the guests we serve. Experience our wood fired cooking in a fun, fast paced environment. We offer the opportunity to live and play in an outdoor sports paradise, while still being able to cook at a "big city" level. The icing on the cake is that we have incredible wages and benefits, with plenty of room to grow, advance, and improve your skills. This is an amazing opportunity to work in one of the top kitchens (definitely the most popular) in the Vail Valley and to be a part of the next chapter in the legacy of Vail's "hottest" restaurant. We focus on the ancient technique of live wood fired cooking and this element is the driving factor behind our food. The open kitchen allows us to have fun, interact with guests, and work in an exciting environment! We are searching for individuals that are dedicated, hard working, determined to succeed, and above all willing to learn. Our pay range is $22-$30+ depending on experience and skill level, and that now includes tips!
We also offer the following benefits: free ski pass program, paid vacation (after one year), medical insurance contribution, uniforms provided, dining discounts of 50% off in our restaurants, and more!!! In order to make your transition as seamless as possible, we have EMPLOYEE HOUSING available on a first come, first serve basis. We are also now a certified Apprenticeship site via the National and Colorado Restaurant Association and offer the opportunity to earn a US department of Labor certified Cook title.
