About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to play a pivotal role in its transition to a GP-controlled fund model. This senior, cross-functional position demands a professional with a strong background in real estate fund accounting, a CPA credential, and a proven track record of building and enhancing finance infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial operations and oversight, including the design and implementation of accounting infrastructure to support the firm's growth. This is a build-and-lead mandate, requiring the ability to stand up the finance function, recruit and lead a team, and earn expanding ownership of capital formation, treasury, and investor and lender relationships over time. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Finance include financial operations and oversight, accounting infrastructure design and implementation, co-sourced provider management, fund and entity accounting, investor reporting, tax compliance, FP&A, and management reporting. The role also involves establishing the firm's standards for AI and automation in finance, preparing for fund audits, and contributing to regulatory compliance and registration. The ideal candidate will have a builder's mindset, be detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. They should be comfortable with a hands-on approach, high ownership, and have the credibility to set the bar for a growing finance team.
