HVAC Apprentice

The HVAC Apprentice is an entry-level role responsible for assisting experienced HVAC Technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This position provides hands-on training and development opportunities while supporting safe and efficient facility operations.

Position Starts: 9/1/2026

Pay: $28.00/hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Technicians with preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs of HVAC systems
• Learn to troubleshoot system issues including air handlers, condensers, compressors, and ventilation units
• Help install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and system components
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and replacing belts
• Support system testing and performance checks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
• Accurately document work performed through work order systems
• Participate in on-the-job training and development programs
• Assist with emergency service calls as needed

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
