Sunday Morning Bakery is looking for a dynamic Kitchen Manager to join our

growing team. We’re a young company, looking for someone to grow with us

from the early days. We seek an organized, high-energy leader to oversee daily

production of our multiple stores. Maintain pristine cleanliness, safety and

quality standards, and to mentor our team of amazing bakers. If you thrive in a

Responsibilities

-Menu: Design and execute seasonal flavors, maintain our high-quality standards

for our rolls and ensure exact recipe execution.

-Production: Manage daily baking schedules, ingredient prep, and inventory

tracking of multiple stores and staff.

-Team: Schedule, train, evaluate, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a respectful,

and productive work culture.

-Safety/ Sanitation: Enforce local health department regulations, ensure and maintain

strict cleanliness of kitchen.

-Financial: Accountable for kitchen labor costs, ingredient ordering, and

monitoring daily production expenses against budget goals.

Requirements

 5+ years of managerial experience, preferably in a high-volume bakery or high-volume

restaurant kitchen.

 Must come from a culinary background with real world chef experience.

 This position requires menu development and R&D.

 An expertise in culinary and commercial baking techniques.

 Strong at “kitchen math” calculations skills for recipe scaling/inventory and time

management

 Excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure.

 Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours and lift inventory weighing up to 50 pounds

 Requires early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

 College degree, culinary degree or hospitality degree is required

Full-Time

$70,000 – $80,000 / year (Based on experience) + performance bonuses
