Personal Training Director

We are looking for a Personal Training Sales Director to make a significant impact on the revenue of personal training sales at Maxx Fitness. Primary Responsibilities Drive growth of the personal training department by hitting established monthly revenue goals. Selling personal training programs to current and new members. Communicate daily and monthly game plans to all trainers, managers, and staff. Provide superior customer service to all members and clients. Recruit, hire, train, and coach the personal training staff. Manage daily scheduling of training sessions, match trainer availability, and ensure all sessions are completed and documented. Submit weekly trainer payroll and monitor session rendering and pay accurately. Track and manage bad debt and payment cancellations. Ensure club managers drive existing member traffic through personal training sales at a target of 2% per month. Coordinate promotions and in‑club events to support training sales. New Member On‑Boarding Specialist: meet with each new member and sell personal‑training programming through our customized software. Confirm client weekly training appointments and follow up with members who have not booked appointments. Secondary Responsibilities Lead flawless execution of department best practices for trainers and clients. Co‑lead professional development of personal training staff. Hire, train, motivate, direct, and evaluate the personal training team. Talent acquisition: call personal trainer applicants to pre‑screen for interviews. Promote personal trainer bios and collect them for the company website. Ensure trainer uniforms and dress code compliance. Collect monthly employee performance reviews and trainer monthly conduct reviews. ASSIST with answering phones and touring guests during downtime. Schedule a dedicated day each week to interview new trainers with the general manager. Assist in memberships and client tours during downtime. Qualifications Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the fitness industry. Demonstrated experience managing and growing a personal training client base. Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and follow‑up skills. Current national personal training certification (preferred). Computer literacy and proficiency with our customized software. Self‑motivated with a high degree of ownership, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Open‑minded to new approaches, optimistic mindset, positive attitude, and a "roll‑up‑your‑sleeves" attitude. Passion for fitness and bringing healthy living to as many people as possible.
