These principals are more than words on a page – they shape how we serve, collaborate and grow together.The Challenge (Job Summary):As the Physical Therapist Assistant, you will support patient care by working under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists. You will help patients recover from injuries or illnesses regain movement, improve function, and manage pain. This role is essential in delivering high?quality, compassionate care while maintaining a safe, organized, and supportive clinical environment in an outpatient setting. You'll get to:Observe patients before, during, and after therapy and report status updates to the supervising physical therapist.Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises.Treat patients using techniques such as massage, stretching, and mobility support.Assist patients with devices and equipment including walkers and other mobility aids.Educate patients and family members on post?treatment expectations and home care.Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and prepare therapy equipment.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Observes and documents patient responses to treatment and communicates findings to the physical therapist.Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities according to the established plan of care.Performs treatment techniques including massage, stretching, and mobility support.Utilizes assistive devices and equipment to support patient mobility and safety.Provides patient and family education regarding post?treatment care and expectations.Cleans and organizes treatment areas; sets up therapy equipment as needed.Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA and OSHA regulations.Performs other related duties as assigned.What you need to succeed:Ability to read, understand, and document patient information clearly.Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Effective communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff.Commitment to high?quality, patient?centered care.Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.Education & Work Experience:Graduate of a CAPTE?accredited Physical Therapist Assistant associate degree program.Current Physical Therapist Assistant license.Clinical rotation experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred.What We Offer You:A Wonderful Environment: This position is based in Broadview Heights, Ohio, where you'll be part of a supportive team of positive, collaborative colleagues.Work-Life Balance: We recognize that exceptional care begins with a healthy, supported team.
