Work Arrangements DRE offers a hybrid telework schedule with a combination of remote and in-office work schedules. The telework policy is subject to change and additional in-office days may be required with minimal notification if urgent needs arise. Department Information The California Legislature enacted the state’s first real estate license law in 1917. The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) licenses and regulates real estate licensees.
