Admission rate: 8.7 percent

EMR: Epic

No call

Coverage Model

Physician coverage: 34 hours

NP or PA coverage: 12 hours

Required Qualifications

MD or DO

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

Residency trained

Active Louisiana license. IMLC not accepted.

DEA with Louisiana address

If not ABEM: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS

Case logs for the past 2 years

Credentialing

Privileging timeframe: 30 to 60 days

Accelerated privileges available with a clean file

Orientation and EMR training
