Purchasing Administrator

Position Overview Amentum is seeking a Purchasing Administrator in Greenville, SC. Hours vary with customer demand, and overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required. Responsibilities Utilize the procurement and purchase order system to create POs. Document, process, match, read, organize, sort, and file reports and data sheets. Scan documents and upload to appropriate systems. Operate office equipment and manage office space and systems. Answer inquiries and provide information verbally and in written communication. Maintain professional, customer‑oriented relationships with teammates, customers, and service providers. Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience in an industrial office environment or a related role in pharmaceutical, research and development, or industrial settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite. Experience with data entry, scanning, uploading, and filing using a document management system. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Background checks and security access as required; U.S. citizenship or permanent resident. Valid driver’s license issued by the state. Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends. Physical / Special Requirements Repetitive wrist movement. Ability to walk extensively during the workday. Read and understand information displayed on a computer screen. Communicate with others via telephone and in one‑on‑one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. Fluency in computer use, including the full Microsoft product line. Move light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets, and other storage locations. Interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner. Compensation $25 – $27 per hour.
