Manufacturing Buyer

Overview Greenville, SC. This role will focus on supplier coordination, procurement execution, and cost optimization across engineered components in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Support sourcing strategy across existing and new suppliers, products, and engineering changes Manage SAP item masterdata, purchase orders, and supplier setup Execute RFQs, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions Drive cost reduction initiatives and BOM savings projects Monitor and improve supplier on-time delivery and capacity Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering changes Coordinate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers Assist with import/export and customs-related procurement activities Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field 1+ year of experience in manufacturing procurement or sourcing Experience purchasing engineered or technical components Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience with negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Why Is This a Great Opportunity Opportunity to work in a global manufacturing environment with cross-functional exposure Direct impact on cost savings, supplier performance, and operational success Hands-on role with visibility to leadership and sourcing strategy #J-18808-Ljbffr NPAworldwide
