Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional, education assistant, teaching aide, or similar role
• Previous experience working in a school environment highly preferred
• Familiarity with supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction from lead teachers
• Adaptable, patient, and reliable with strong organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, offering tailored academic and behavioral support as needed
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson implementation and classroom management
• Help create and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all students
• Support students with assignments, activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Monitor student progress and report on achievements or concerns to certified staff
• Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team by participating in planning meetings and ongoing professional development
