Bengali Language Evaluator for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve Bengali language understanding and generation in next-generation AI systems by reviewing Bengali audio and providing precise linguistic feedback. This remote contractor role values Bengali language expertise, with no prior AI experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Bengali audio clips and assess the speaker or model output for nativeness and fluency.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document clear, concise feedback in English, including the linguistic factors behind each assessment.
• Provide detailed justifications that support consistent evaluation results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that help improve AI performance in Bengali understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Bengali proficiency, including strong spoken and written command of the language.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, particularly for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to describe nuanced language differences clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
