Engineering Coordinator

Engineering Resource Manager

You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting an online platform that serves 300+ sites globally, working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing workload effectively under tight deadlines. You will be the gatekeeper and go-to for any engineering resourcing needs, as well as onboarding/training coordination and management of engineering group logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage coding test assessments & related communications for engineering candidates
• Maintain master view of where all engineers are assigned & their skillsets across all vendors.
• First point of contact for engineer resourcing needs.
• Schedule & handle logistics around engineering related events such as front end academy sessions. Arrange onboardings for new engineers/agencies joining outside of academy scheduled sessions.
• Senior code reviews management
  • Identify engineers who exceed the 24hr SLA & solve the root cause
  • Manage timelines & follow ups for high profile escalations that require faster than 24hr SLA
• Resource management:
  • Schedule engineering candidate interviews
  • Manage new engineer setup access requests & assist with setup escalations
  • Help new engineers find seats on their first day
  • Make sure all new engineers are assigned an appropriate mentor
  • Manage verification that all engineers use secured laptops
  • Manage verification, tracking, & communication that all engineers take yearly security compliance exam
• Manage logistics around budgets, including setting up budget codes & making sure engineers are billing correctly

• You have 2+ years professional experience in a similar role
• You are self-directed and make things happen
• You enjoy solving problems and if you don't know the answer to a question, you will figure it out
• You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and excellent attention to detail
• You have a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
• You have strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal effectiveness, in one-on-one interactions and presenting to a room
• You have self-awareness and a desire to continually improve

Skills Preferred

• Experience with web development work or similar technical background / interest
• Project management experience
• Professional experience with E-Commerce
• Experience working with global teams
