Job Description Our client, a renowned academic medical center, is hiring a Hematologist Oncologist Physician to join their dedicated team in serving an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population. This full‑time faculty position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care while engaging in teaching, clinical research, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a dynamic academic environment. Responsibilities Deliver inpatient and outpatient clinical care for patients with hematological malignancies, coagulation disorders, and solid tumors. Perform chemotherapy infusions and consults, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered treatment. Educate residents, medical students, and fellows, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Participate actively in clinical research to advance the understanding and treatment of hematologic and oncologic conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive academic setting, contributing to departmental objectives and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements MD degree with board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology. Valid New York State Medical License, DEA, and Medicaid number. Experience managing hematologic malignancies and coagulation disorders. Comfortable providing care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
