Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source.Business Development Representatives (BDR) are responsible for qualifying both inbound and outbound sales leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. They must research potential clients, connect with, and educate prospects before handing them off to the closers of the sales team.The outbound process requires the BDR to reach out to prospects in the form of cold calls, emails, or social networks. This process allows BDR to personalize their outreach for the first touch point, but many people don't like being contacted without having previously shown interest.The inbound process is directed toward prospects who have shown interest in our product or service by reaching out to the company via phone call, email, or request for additional information online.Essential duties and responsibilities include:75 calls and or emails per dayFollow-up on inbound marketing leads by identifying qualified opportunities with appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teamsCreate target prospects lists and penetrate key accountsCold call prospects generated by variety of outside sourcesAnswer incoming customer calls and send them in the correct directionIdentify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycleDevelop a knowledge of the company's productMonitor account creation to ensure that no duplicate accounts are createdWork with a specified region to help grow salesProfile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, research and obtain business requirements, then presenting solutions to start the sales cycleSet appointments for Local Sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stageNurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales repCollaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approachEnsure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM applicationRequired skills and qualifications include:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent sales and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Physical requirements include:A positive attitude and willingness to maintain a professional demeanor with clients and team members is essential to this position.Ability to work around common office equipment, supplies and environments.Oral Expression and comprehension ' The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
