Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH) and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH).

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: 10 RTO days max approved. RTO is not allowed during June 28- July 9, 2026, September 2 – September 12, 2026, and October 25 – November 4, 2026. Flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Post Op patients: Colon resections, appy, chole, mastectomies, TURPs, kidney stones, Level 3 Trauma patients, Stroke patients, Orthopedic patients (shoulders, broken hips), bowel obstructions, thyroidectomies. Overhead lifts in every room. Multiple virtual health center assistance, high utilization of technology.

Shift & Scheduling: Various days of the week. Weekend requirement: Yes, per unit needs. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to acute care and ED boarding.

10 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0
