Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH) and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH).

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Computerized documentation. First-time travelers accepted, but must have experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs. While additional support is provided, candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.

Special Requests: 10 RTO days max approved. RTO is not allowed during June 28- July 9, 2026, September 2 – September 12, 2026, and October 25 – November 4, 2026.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric Med/Surg patient population, including acute care patients, overflow surgical patients, and renal, cardiac, diabetes, and inpatient hospice cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Various days of week. Every other weekend per unit needs. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating required within scope; may float to sister facilities based on need, including Medical Center of the Rockies, Poudre Valley, and Harmony locations. Traveler will be notified prior.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
