Account Executive - Acute Wound Healing Specialist (Columbus)

Role Overview Account Executive – Acute Wound Healing Specialist (Columbus) – responsible for serving as a consultative wound healing expert and primary contact for hospital wound care decision makers. The role includes educating clinicians, driving adoption of Solventum solutions, expanding therapy utilization, and coordinating patient transition of care. Responsibilities Consult with clinicians on safe and effective use of Solventum products. Attend procedures and placements in hospital care settings. Deliver sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management. Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities. Educate clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products, including inservicing. Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders. Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions. Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products. Provide customer support and service. Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program. Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking. Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 5 years of sales and/or clinical experience. High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of sales and/or clinical experience. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Current, valid driver’s license. Personal vehicle for company business. Pass a pre‑hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility. Additional Qualifications Track record of sales quota & target attainment. Prior wound care, OR, or medical device sales experience. Expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g., surgeons). Experience in territory management & business planning. Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas. Customer‑focused selling and closing skills. Experience navigating complex selling cycles. Completion of a formal sales training program. Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process. Outstanding data and analytical skills. Work Location & Travel Onsite in Columbus, Ohio sales territory. Field‑based role with up to 10% overnight travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is $126,400 - $173,800, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
