Location: Covington, GA 30014
Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: Overtime may be requested
Position Type: W2 12-Month Assignment with potential for extension and conversion to full-time employment based on business needs. Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
Job Overview
We are hiring for a Warehouse Production Associate role in Covington, GA. This position supports warehouse and production operations for a global medical device manufacturing company. The role involves moving materials throughout the facility, sorting and inspecting products, maintaining documentation, and assisting with daily production support tasks. Candidates should be comfortable working in a regulated warehouse/manufacturing setting, following established procedures, and adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Move materials, parts, and products throughout the facility using handcarts and other light equipment
- Sort, inspect, and handle materials and assemblies
- Support warehouse and production operations as needed
- Read rulers and perform basic measurements accurately
- Maintain production and quality documentation
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Complete routine production and warehouse tasks with attention to detail
- Assist with inventory movement and material handling
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform additional warehouse and production duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, production, material handling, or quality experience required
- Must have at least one continuous year with the same employer
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Frequent repetitive hand and wrist movement
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Facility can be hot during summer months and cold during winter months
- Moderate to loud work environment
