Physician - Oncology

Job Details:

• Outpatient oncology care and inpatient call coverage within a collaborative community oncology and hematology practice
• Preferred coverage of 2 to 4 weeks on-site each month
• At least 1:4 call and inpatient rounding coverage required
• Outpatient clinic schedule of 4 to 5 days per week
• Week of call runs Friday at 8:00 AM through the following Friday at 8:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required when participating in the 1:4 call rotation
• On-site hospital rounding required during call weekends
• Average daily patient volume of 15 to 20 patients
• No pediatric patients; new and follow-up oncology patients and benign hematology patients
• General community medical oncology and hematology experience required
• No procedures required
• Provider will be supported by a full-time Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant, and chemotherapy-certified RN staff in the infusion clinic
• Required attendance at tumor board during on-site working weeks
• Position is not a sole-provider role
• Locum tenens opportunity with potential for locum-to-permanent placement
• Board Certified required
• Ohio medical license preferred; candidates requiring Ohio licensure may be considered
