Hematology/Oncology Physician

Position Overview:

• Start: November 2026
• Duration: Ongoing, with coverage needed through at least April 2027
• Preferred coverage: 2 4 weeks per month
• Outpatient clinic: 4 5 days per week
• 1:4 call rotation with inpatient rounding required
• Call week runs Friday 8:00 AM through the following Friday at 8:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required when participating in the call rotation
• On-site hospital rounding required during call weekends
• Participation in tumor board required during on-site working weeks

Patient Volume & Population:

• Approximately patients per day
  
• New and follow-up oncology patients
  
• Benign hematology patients
  
• No pediatric patients

Clinical Requirements:

• General community medical oncology experience
  
• Hematology experience
  
• No procedures required

Practice Support:

The provider will have support from:

• Full-time RN
  
• Medical Assistant
  
• Chemotherapy-certified RN staff in the infusion clinic

Qualifications:

• Board Certified required
  
• Ohio medical license preferred
  
• Candidates requiring Ohio licensure may be considered
  
• References preferred
  
• Providers with recent locum experience should provide a reference from their most recent locum assignment
