The Logistics Coordinator oversees the planning and execution of the supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing inventory schedules, and liaising with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize logistics processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule transportation and ensure compliance with delivery timelines
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipment issues
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate stock management
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and reports
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards in transport and storage
- Track shipment status and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
