Overview:  
At Primrose, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children. We are currently looking for an On Call Preschool Handyman to join our team. This part-time position is crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities, ensuring that our preschool environment remains welcoming and conducive to learning.

Key Responsibilities:  
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep tasks (may include some outside lawn care as well).  
- Ability to put together furniture for classrooms, playgrounds, or storage spaces.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure a safe environment for staff and children. 
- Work independently and with a task list 
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.  
- Collaborate with school staff to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting the daily operations of the preschool.  
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks.  

Required Qualifications:  
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or handyman services.  
- Availability to work part-time during the specified hours.  
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.  

Preferred Qualifications:  
- Experience working in educational or childcare facilities.  
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to building maintenance.

The On Call Handyman will interact with staff as needed, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere focused on the well-being of children.
