Our typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, enabling you to establish a healthy work-life balance while engaging with clients across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that effectively address the unique challenges faced by seniors, such as coping with grief, loss, and adjustment to life changes.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to design comprehensive care plans tailored to the geriatric residents under your care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered around providing mental health services to seniors facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment disorders. As a Counselor specializing in geriatric care, you will engage with individuals at different stages of their aging process, offering a supportive and understanding approach that encourages open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
