Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office, providing face-to-face therapy sessions. You'll work alongside a cohesive team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), allowing for dynamic collaboration and shared expertise. Our onsite facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and spaces specifically designed for physical therapy, ensuring you have everything necessary to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to identify patient needs and set therapeutic goals within the healthcare setting.
• Manage a consistent patient load, averaging one patient per hour while ensuring high-quality interaction and care.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based techniques that promote movement and mobility.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment modalities that focus on reducing dependence on medications or surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on assessments and outcomes to optimize recovery.
• Document detailed notes of patient interactions, treatments, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Educate and motivate patients on maintaining functional abilities and promoting a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license in California.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and physical therapy methodologies.
• Proficiency with EMR software, specifically platforms like WebPT, to manage patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Experience in minimizing reliance on medication through effective therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits
