Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Body Orthopedic Pain Management, you will:

• Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aligned with patients' goals, focusing on alleviating pain, preventing disability, and optimizing muscle function.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Evaluate home environments for readjustment and rehabilitation considerations, recommending modifications to enhance patient independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques tailored to patients' conditions.
• Implement mechanical traction therapies, massage, and other modalities as required in the treatment plan.
• Assess and assist in the adjustment of prosthetic and orthotic devices, advocating necessary changes to optimize patient mobility and comfort.
• Document and maintain comprehensive clinical records, submitting them in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop and review care plans, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, device usage, and self-management strategies for better outcomes.
• Conduct functional assessments and community resource evaluations, addressing potential barriers to recovery and recommending solutions.
• Participate in training and mentorship opportunities to support your professional development and those of your colleagues.
• Undertake additional tasks aligned with organizational goals and patient care advancements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapy licensure in California, or eligibility and intent to obtain licensure swiftly.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, clinical excellence, and quality patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration capabilities.

Preferred Experience
