Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, primarily within clients' homes throughout Oakland. Our work setting allows you to build interpersonal relationships with patients, providing a compassionate and supportive environment. The company promotes a flexible work schedule while maintaining a Monday to Friday routine, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and actively work towards fulfilling the individual goals and needs of each patient through comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintain a patient caseload that can include various rehabilitation needs, ensuring you meet one patient every hour for focused sessions.
• Implement evidence-based techniques in orthopedic care, maximizing patient engagement and recovery rates.
• Design and execute individualized care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and functional training.
• Encourage patients to explore non-surgical treatment modalities, minimizing reliance on medications and enhancing recovery experiences.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs, addressing specific health conditions to improve overall mobility and quality of life.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with documentation protocols and improving continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our services focus on patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. By working closely with private medical insurance providers, we ensure that our patients receive effective and economical treatments tailored to their unique circumstances. As a therapist, you will play a key role in their road to recovery, fostering independence and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

• A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with a clean record free from disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Familiarity and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate clients and promote a positive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in a home care setting or orthopedic outpatient practice.
• Experience in developing personalized fitness and wellness programs for patients recovering from injuries and surgeries.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
