Work Environment

This full-time role requires working onsite within our outpatient office, fostering a team-oriented environment designed to support both patient and staff needs. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the demands of your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical health assessments that incorporate mental health considerations to determine patient needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on modalities tailored to the unique needs of each patient, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and physical rehabilitation techniques.
• Facilitate psychoeducation programs and support groups that address physical health concerns, mental wellness, and community resources.
• Collaborate closely with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and continuity of treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing health emergencies or severe psychological distress.
• Educate patients and their families on physical health conditions, treatment methodologies, and resources available within the community.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical healthcare standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of new research and techniques in the field of physical health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes adults and adolescents facing various mental health and physical health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, chronic pain, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. As a Physical Health Therapist, you will be instrumental in developing treatment plans that address both the physical and psychosocial aspects of their care, ultimately working towards enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
