Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' physical capabilities and treatment needs through assessments that will guide individualized therapy plans.
• Design and implement comprehensive, tailored treatment plans that aim to improve residents' strength, mobility, and functional independence, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, to treat a range of physical impairments.
• Continuously monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative team meetings to discuss resident care, share insights, and refine treatment strategies.
• Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs, empowering them to maintain and improve their physical health.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, as well as uphold professional standards in the practice of physical therapy.

Many of our residents require rehabilitation following surgery, illness, or injury, and our approach is tailored to meet their unique needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in their recovery journey, helping them achieve their individual goals while fostering a dignified and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with residents and the interdisciplinary team.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple patient plans and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• A proactive approach to patient care and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric patients greatly enhances your candidacy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and outcomes tracking software.
• Experience in developing group therapy programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
