Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, understand their symptoms, and determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Educate patients on the proper use of therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific conditions, ensuring they are able to perform exercises safely and effectively.
• Implement hands-on techniques, such as manual therapy, massage, and neuromuscular re-education, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients with the use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring a smooth transition to increased independence.
• Maintain detailed patient records, tracking progress towards rehabilitation goals, and adapting treatment plans based on patient response.
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient base that includes children and adults experiencing various physical challenges ranging from post-operative care to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Required: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in California.
