Work Environment

This position is full-time and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, making it ideal for work-life balance. You will work primarily in an onsite home care setting, providing tailored therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and establish individual patient goals through effective communication and evaluation.
• Manage a focused caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques and modalities appropriate to orthopedic rehabilitation, consistently focusing on improving patient mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to design, implement, and adjust comprehensive care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Monitor ongoing patient progress and treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to maximize recovery.
• Educate and support patients regarding their conditions, providing guidance on exercises and wellness strategies.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment processes meticulously, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Your work will directly impact individuals on their journey to recovery, enhancing their strength, flexibility, and overall functional capabilities. You will create individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs that reflect the patients' unique needs, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes from their therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no prior disciplinary actions or board issues.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proven ability to implement effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software, especially WebPT, for patient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience practicing as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and training in contemporary physical therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
