Maxx Life Health Care is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant / Medical Interpreter to join our expanding practice. This is an exciting opportunity to help patients through the U.S. Immigration Medical Examination (USCIS Form I-693) process while supporting our primary care and specialty medical services.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients during office visits.
- Assist with the immigration physical process from start to finish.
- Help patients complete required paperwork and explain the process.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
- Prepare patients for provider examinations.
- Perform medical assistant duties including:
- Taking vital signs
- Recording medical history
- Documenting in the EMR
- Drawing blood (preferred)
- Administering injections (if certified)
- Coordinate laboratory testing, vaccines, and referrals.
- Answer incoming calls and assist Spanish-speaking patients.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (not required for experienced candidates)
- Previous experience in a medical office preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
