SUMMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB Account Managers are responsible for new business developments, maintaining and growth of existing business at assigned strategic accounts for NMB Technologies Corporation JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES New Business Development: Responsible for the development and management of new business for the designated territory market segments. Identify and respond to customer needs – assess potential application of company products and offer design solutions. Develop solid and long‑term influential relationships with key decision makers at customers. Provide timely written and verbal reporting on customer interactions and application details (including Salesforce.com reporting). Technical Research & Reporting – gather information on customer roadmaps and industry technical trends, consolidate and analyze data, and report summaries and recommendations to product management regularly. Monthly Reporting – prepare and submit a monthly summary activity report. New Business Development Strategy – work closely with Business Unit Management and Product Team to develop comprehensive strategies for assigned markets/geographies: Demonstrate knowledge of customer products and services to formulate revenue‑driving strategies. Engage in early development phases with customers to ensure NMB products are designed‑in. Sales Resource Recommendation and Deployment – act as point of first reference for all product‑related inquiries, maintain sales‑related activities for assigned products, and design and implement approved sales resource coverage plans. Business Planning – report new business development and account activity, use planning tools (e.g., Markelines, IHS), manage Salesforce.com sales funnel, assist Product Support teams for accurate forecasting, and complete the Annual Operating Plan in the Data Warehouse. Revenue Achievement – accountable for meeting approved AOP revenue goals; monitor and report customer production vs. AOP. Contract Negotiations – work with customers on contracts, handle disputes, pricing, delivery, and related issues. Travel – up to 80% domestic with occasional international travel. Perform other duties related to the job function as required. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred). 3–5 years experience in a related field (OEM, Automotive, Consumer Appliance, Robotics). Basic knowledge of OEM and Distribution Sales Channels. Proven track record of year‑on‑year revenue growth. Strong business development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills. Preferred technical sales or product experience with mechanical bearings, motors, connectors, and/or electronics. Computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM, Salesforce.com preferred. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS No supervisory responsibilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS A normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to work on a computer. SALARY Pay band: $85,729.00 – $128,594.00 annually. Base pay within this range depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
