About the Position

Job Title

Diagnostic Imaging Registered Nurse – Level 3

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days and Evenings, Occasional Weekends | No Nights or Holidays | 8-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, ultrasound, and interventional radiology (IR) procedures
• Apply strong critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures
• Utilize telemetry monitoring skills to support patient safety in a high-acuity imaging environment
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including wearing hospital-issued and laundered scrubs in procedural areas as required

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (required; no other state licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only

• Medical/Surgical nursing background
