Sales Representative

Position Overview The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying product and service demand, developing pricing strategies, and building strong customer relationships within a designated territory. This role involves presenting products, managing customer accounts, and monitoring market trends to support business growth. The Sales Representative works closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Success in this position requires a proactive approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and availability
• Recommend products based on customer needs and interests
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders
• Perform follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to customer needs
• Collaborate with design to provide product samples
• Identify prospective customers using various outreach methods
• Arrange and direct product deliveries
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, maintaining records, and filing expense reports
• Obtain credit information for prospective customers

Qualifications

• Knowledge of selling principles and customer service practices
• Understanding of the paper industry, design, and departmental capabilities
• Awareness of industry trends and changing market conditions
• Skilled in marketing and sales presentations
• Experience conducting meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts
