Your expertise will ensure that our clients' homes are safe, energy-efficient, and up to code. You will work closely with homeowners to assess their electrical needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions that enhance their living spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in residential electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in residential settings.
- Evaluate electrical systems, appliances, and equipment to identify repair and replace needs.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Communicate with homeowners to explain services and address any concerns or questions.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify faults.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a residential electrician or similar role.
- Valid electrician's license and up-to-date certifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and local electrical codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in electrical technology is a plus.
