Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy sessions focused on acute care, including gait training and assistive device instruction.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with medical and surgical teams for comprehensive patient care planning.
• Utilize knowledge of orthopedic surgeries and neurological conditions for effective interventions.
• Document patient progress and reassessments using electronic charting systems.

Qualifications

• Current CA Physical Therapy License in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Epic charting system.
• Ability to perform strength assessments and develop rehabilitation objectives.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
